Voluntary groups urged to apply for grants

VOLUNTARY groups have been urged to apply for £270,000 in grant funding designed to help the most vulnerable groups in West Lothian.

Organisations proposing pilot initiatives that help with early intervention and crisis diversion will be prioritised under the council-run fund.

The scheme is targeting groups such as young homeless people and children in care.

Up to £25,000 for each financial year is available per applicant. The programme is running over the next three years, with more information at www.westlothianchcp.org.uk.
