Video: Jimmy Somerville shocks Berlin busker with duet
GLASWEGIAN singer Jimmy Somerville stunned a busker in the German capital Berlin last week when he joined in with a rendition of one of his biggest hits.
The busker was playing an acoustic version of Smalltown Boy, a top-five single for Somerville’s group Bronski Beat in 1984.
In a video posted on YouTube the Glasgow-born singer, famed for his unusual falsetto style, dashes into shot to join in the rendition of the song.
The video-makers who posted the clip to their OnkelBernisWelt YouTube channel wrote: “Awesome, things like that only happen in Berlin!”
