However, the latest feat was performed by Rosyth rodent Truffles, who has set a new world record for longest leap by a guinea pig.

The animal set the record earlier this year with a jump of 30cm, only to see that shattered by a Peruvian rival.

But, encouraged by owner Chloe Macari, 14, and sister Nicole, Truffles wowed his YouTube fans with a new jump of 48cm.
