Usher event strikes chord for forces

AN inaugual Concert of Remembrance at the Usher Hall, organised by two ex-servicemen, featured music from the New Phoenix Band and the Jubilo Choir.

Commander Euan Fairbairn and Captain William Phillips put on the concert to raise awareness of those whose lives have been damaged as a result of service and to raise money for Poppy Scotland.

The event also featured the Edinburgh Tattoo Highland Ceilidh Dancers and included a short act of remembrance.
