Urgent repairs mean delays for Edinburgh commuters

COMMUTERS face delays for the next two weeks as urgent repairs are carried out in Edinburgh cuy centre to fix leaking water mains.

Scottish Water is carrying out the Randolph Cliff work, which is expected to last until 28 January, according to the Scottish Road Works Commissioner.

The emergency work brought lengthy tailbacks for drivers heading into the city centre yesterday morning along Queensferry Road, reducing traffic to a single lane after Dean Bridge.
