Unlicensed waste site fined £3,250

A BUSINESSMAN has been fined more than £3,000 after he set up an unlicensed waste site.

Ashley Ratcliffe pled guilty to keeping waste items including vehicles, tyres, carpets and oil drums at a site in Kirkpatrick-Fleming, a Dumfries village. He was trading as AJR Commercials.

He was fined £3,250 at Dumfries Sheriff Court yesterday.
