A RARE photo of Marilyn Monroe at her school graduation is to go on sale.

Amid a sea of fresh faces, the then innocent 15-year-old can be seen in the panoramic shot of the whole class year at Ralph Waldo Emerson Junior High School in Los Angeles.

Monroe was then known
as plain Norma Jeane Baker in the summer of 1941 but within a few years would become a model, actress and global sex symbol.

The photograph, which measures 8 x 24 inches, is expected to sell for up to £1,500 when it goes under the hammer at Omega auction house in Stockport, Cheshire, next week.
