HUNDREDS turned out to say goodbye to Gloria Taylor, the mother of murdered schoolboy Damilola, at her funeral yesterday.

Priests, police, politicians, bereaved relatives of violent crimes, community leaders and friends, many in traditional Nigerian dress, packed out the same south London church where Damilola's funeral was held eight years ago.

Mourners, many having to stand outside on the church steps, heard tributes to "an excellent woman".

Mrs Taylor, 57, collapsed after suffering a suspected heart attack while walking near her home in Shooters Hill, south-east London, on 8 April.
