Young man’s body washed up on beach

A YOUNG man’s body has been found washed up on a beach, police said.

A member of the public discovered the body, believed to be of a man in his 20s, by Hastings’ pier in East Sussex at 7:30am yesterday. It is thought the man, who officers have appealed for help in trying to identify, had been in the water for up to 24 hours.
