The Voice talent show hit by vomiting bug

A VIRUS has hit the contestants of BBC1 talent show The Voice and is threatening to damage their hopes of winning the top prize.

Frances Wood, Joelle Moses and Jaz Ellington have all been struck by a vomiting bug.

The trio are coached by American star Will.i.am, but contestants on other teams are also worried about being infected before Saturday’s heat.

This weekend’s show will see another four acts leave the competition.

The BBC said it was hoping all the singers would be able to take part.

A spokesman said: “We’re making sure the sick artists are getting all the rest and recuperation they need, and barring any further outbreaks, are confident they’ll all make it back for Saturday night’s show.”
