Veterans can wear Malayan medals

The Queen has agreed that veterans who fought in Malaya more than 50 years ago can wear all their medals on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.

Until now, soldiers have been unable to display medals awarded by the Malayan king because of strict protocol.
