‘Titanic II’ cruise ship plans unveiled by tycoon

AN Australian billionaire has announced plans to build a replica of the Titanic.

Mining tycoon Clive Palmer unveiled the proposal at a conference at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum today in New York.

Palmer said Titanic II, which will be built in China, would sail on her maiden passenger voyage from Southampton to New York in late 2016.
