Tabak tweet investigated

THE Attorney General is considering whether to take action over a tweet exposing the sordid sex life of Joanna Yeates’s killer.

The blogger is alleged to have to ignored a Contempt of Court Act reporting ban on Vincent Tabak’s interest in strangulation sex during his trial.

The suspect, who is understood not to be a journalist, was arrested last week over a tweet sent before the jury delivered its guilty verdict against Tabak.

The office of Dominic Grieve, QC, confirmed yesterday that it had received papers from Bristol Crown Court about the tweet.

Tabak, 33, was jailed for life after a jury found him guilty of strangling Ms Yeates.
