Suspect held after £250k drugs seized

A suspected drug smuggler appeared in court accused of flying into Heathrow with £250,000 worth of cocaine.

Lucian Petrica Codreanu, 27, was arrested at Terminal 5 on Wednesday after arriving from Rio de Janeiro, the UK Border Agency said.

Officers said they found 2.5 kilos of cocaine in his luggage.
