Shoe workers may walk out over pay

Hundreds of production workers at a shoe manufacturer in Somerset are to launch a work-to-rule today, with warnings of a strike to follow.

Community union members at Clarks Shoes in Street , voted by 4-1 to take action, angry at plans to impose a 3.5 per cent pay award.
