Riot deaths jury to ‘put emotion aside’

The judge in the trial of eight men accused of murdering three people hit by a car in Birmingham during last summer’s riots has told jurors to put emotion to one side.

Mr Justice Flaux said the deaths had happened at a time of “unparalleled” civil disorder.
