BRITONS blame Europe’s human rights judges for the delay in deporting Jordanian terror suspect Abu Qatada, a new poll has shown.

Gideon Skinner, head of politics at Ipsos MORI, which conducted the survey of 1,002 British adults, said: “This poll highlights an anti-Europe sentiment that exists among sections of the British public.”

The survey was released after Qatada, 51, lost his latest attempt to have his appeal heard by the court on Wednesday.

A fifth of respondents blamed Theresa May, the Home Secretary, for the delay.
