Record winter fuel bills for households

HOUSEHOLDERS are receiving winter fuel bills of more than £500 because of the cold snap and high energy costs, according to a study.

The average household will pay a dual fuel bill of 532.70 for the period from January to March, up 57 on last year's record 475, energyhelpline.com said.
