Rail delays after landslide

Chepstow: Train passengers faced delays and cancellations today after heavy rain caused rocks to slide on to the track, closing a busy railway line. More than a tonne of rubble is believed to have fallen in the area.

Manchester: A mother whose baby son died was last night charged with neglect.

Tracey Sutherland, 39, was charged two days after Alexander, 13 months, was pronounced dead by medics.

It is understood she called the emergency services on Tuesday and informed them her son had been dead in the house for two days but she could not bear to part with him. The cause of his death is unknown.
