Queen prepares for Commonwealth Day speech

THE Queen has used her Commonwealth Day message to urge the family of nations to think about the possibilities “a bold heart, dedication and teamwork” can bring.

In her annual address, the Queen highlighted this year’s Commonwealth theme – Opportunity Through Enterprise – and stressed how “ambition and curiosity” can create new possibilities.

Striving to create a better future for everyone was central to the family of nations’ approach, she said.
