Queen in emotional visit to Aberfan

The Queen has received an emotional welcome yesterday as she opened a new primary school in Aberfan, devastated by a slagheap collapse in 1966.

She was on her diamond jubilee tour of Wales when she visited the village, where 116 children and 28 adults perished.
