Pudding on the style - at £22,000

A HOTEL has sold the most expensive dessert in the world for £22,000.

Carl Weininger, from Rugby, Warwickshire, bought the chocolate pudding at Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel in Windermere, Cumbria for his 60th birthday.

Its ingredients included gold, champagne caviar and a two-carat diamond. The creation is glazed with edible gold leaf
