Police net drugs worth £100,000

MORE than £100,000 worth of drugs have been recovered from a house in Glasgow by police.

Strathclyde Police searched the property in the city’s Springburn area, yesterday where they found a large quantity of drugs, believed to be heroin, and a mixing agent with an estimated street value of £105,000. However, if the two were put together, it is thought the street value could more than double to about £300,000.

A man, 29, and a 26-year-old woman are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
