Police in hunt for pensioner’s killer

Detectives investigating the murder of a retired schoolteacher at an isolated riverside cottage have urged her killer to surrender to police.

Police described the killing of Betty Yates, 77, near Bewdley, Worcestershire, as a “horrendous” offence against a pillar of the community.
