Police believe body is of missing woman

Police have been trying to confirm whether a badly decomposed body found in an Italian river is that of a British holidaymaker who disappeared more than seven months ago.

Italian officers are said to be “fairly confident” the body is of Glenys Turner, 46, from Derby, who was last seen walking near Lake Como in October.
