In pictures: Sir Chris Hoy and fellow cyclists take centre stage at GQ awards

THE cream of British cycling sported high fashion rather than Lycra last night for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards at the Royal Opera House in London.Olympic stars Bradley Wiggins, Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton stole the show.

Scot Sir Chris was accompanied by his wife Sarra Kemp while Wiggins went arm in arm with wife Catherine, and was presented with a lifetime achievement award. Wiggins, who won the Tour de France and a gold medal at London 2012, was given the award by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Double gold medal winner Mo Farah presented Robbie Williams with an Icon award, while the Olympic theme continued with Team GB named team of the year. Pictures: PA
