Photographer injured in Afghanistan comes home

A PHOTOGRAPHER who suffered serious injuries in an explosion which killed British journalist Rupert Hamer will be brought back to the UK from Afghanistan today.

Philip Coburn, 43, who works for the Sunday Mirror, will be treated at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham. He and Mr Hamer were caught up in the blast on Saturday while with US Marines.
