Phone sought in aid worker’s killing

Scotland Yard detectives involved in the Pakistani police investigation into the murder of kidnapped British aid worker Khalil Dale are attempting to track down a mobile phone that was used in negotiations for his release, it has been reported.

Mr Dale, who worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross, was found dead in April after being kidnapped.

British police are now attempting to trace an Afghan mobile phone used in negotiations and helping with analysis of DNA, fingerprints and blood on the body.
