Petrol prices back on the increase

PETROL prices are on the rise again after a ten-week dip, according to the latest Automobile Association report.

It blames market speculation for wiping out one-third of the previous reductions, and says drivers were being short-changed by £1 a tank. UK petrol prices averaged 132.18p a litre this week after falling to 130.81p on 1 July, with Scotland averaging 132p.
