Peter Capaldi to star in Three Musketeers

The Thick Of It star Peter Capaldi is to portray another ruthless figure, after being cast in a new BBC adaptation of The Three Musketeers.

The Scot will play Cardinal Richelieu in the ten-part series, which will feature Luke Pasqualino as D’Artagnan.
