Over–55s are wary of online banking

ONLY a quarter of people aged over 55 have used online banking to manage their money, research from a payment education campaign has found.

This compares with two-thirds of the UK population generally. The research, released by PayYourway.org.uk, found 79 per cent of web users felt confident banking online.
