Newsreader Suchet is ‘building a life’

Former television newsreader John Suchet has said he is “building a life” five years after his wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Suchet, 67, first spoke out about the illness two years ago when he said it had “taken” Bonnie, his wife of 24 years, away from him. He said his wife had been cared for in a home for the past two years.
