Muslim police attack anti-terror strategy

MUSLIM police officers condemned the Government's anti-terrorism strategy as an "affront to British values" which had led to an upsurge in Islamophobia.

The National Association of Muslim Police said the strategy – designed to stop violent extremism – was "stigmatising" Muslims by focusing on "so-called Islamic extremism".
