Motorists want MPs to tackle car costs

THE cost of keeping a car on the road heads the list of motoring issues drivers would most like to see addressed by political parties, an AA/Populus poll has revealed.

Illegal drivers who do not tax or insure their vehicles was the next biggest concern in the survey of 14,848 AA members. The condition of the roads and traffic congestion were also issues politicians should sort out, the poll found.
