Morphine given to girl for toothache

A MOTHER who allegedly gave prescription morphine to her 12-year-old daughter to ease her toothache has been arrested.

It is understood the child was rushed to hospital, where she is now in a stable condition.

Her mother, from Bolton, reportedly conceded it was a “stupid mistake”.
