More understanding of late diabetes

RESEARCHERS have taken a big step forward in understanding causes of late-onset diabetes. An international group of scientists – including some at Edinburgh University – has identified a set of genes that control the body's response to glucose in the blood.

The research appears in the journal Nature Genetics.
