Man arrested over Christmas death

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found in a canal on Christmas Day.

Ruby Love, 23, from Harrow, north-west London, was found in the Grand Union Canal at Bankside, Southall, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said. Officers were called to the scene by a member of the public at about 11:40am on Sunday.

A 27-year old man was arrested on Tuesday, police said.
