Man arrested after gun death

A 33-YEAR-OLD man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder after a man died in a gun and grenade attack.

The body of David Short, 46, was found at his house in Clayton, Manchester on 10 August after police responded to reports of gunfire.

Armed officers yesterday arrested a man in a park.

Mr Short’s son, Mark, 23, was killed in May when he was shot in the neck at the Cotton Tree pub in Droylsden after a gunman walked in and opened fire.
