POP superstar Madonna has signed a new record deal with music giant Universal which could see her releasing albums up to the age of around 60.

The singer, now 53, is to release a new album next year – her first since 2008’s Hard Candy.

The next release will be her first album to not come out on a Warner Brothers label, her musical home for nearly 30 years.
