London 2012 Olympics: Police arrest 16 ticket tout suspects

Police seeking to prevent illegal ticket sales at the Olympics have warned spectators to think twice about buying from touts after making 16 arrests since the start of the Games.

Five people were held on suspicion of ticket touting just hours before the opening ceremony on Friday.

Of these, a 57-year-old German and a 30-year-old Slovakian woman were charged with ticket touting, Scotland Yard said.
