Intruders kill kitten in microwave oven

Police are hunting intruders who killed a kitten in a microwave oven during a burglary in which nothing was stolen.

The offence at a property in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, is believed to have taken place on the afternoon or evening of Saturday, 26 November, or in the early hours of the following day.
