Houses shake in Cornish earthquake

AN EARTHQUAKE shook houses in Cornwall overnight on Saturday.

The 2.2-magnitude quake hit Bodmin at 2:40am and lasted a few seconds, the British Geological Society said.

There were no reports of damage but the tremor could be felt in Bodmin, Liskeard, St Austell, Padstow and Camborne.
