France still hot property for Brits

Despite the euro crisis, France and Spain are still the most popular countries for Britons looking to buy property abroad, according to a survey.

As many as 35 per cent of those interested in foreign property are opting for France and 16 per cent for Spain, the currency company HiFX found.

The next most popular countries were the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
