Flood woman still missing

EMERGENCY services are continuing to search for a British ex-pat who went missing after severe flash flooding in Spain.

Diana Dudas, 52, was reported missing on Friday in the town of Vera, Almeria, after torrential rain hit the area, leaving at least 10 people dead.

A friend who lives in the area said she believed Mrs Dudas’ body had been found, but the emergency services in southern Spain’s Andalusia region insisted the search was still continuing

A spokeswoman for the service said: “In relation to the 52-year-old British woman, we have no indication at this stage that her body has been found.”
