Flirting phone users like the joy of text

A THIRD of mobile phone users prefer to flirt with someone they are attracted to via text rather than face-to-face, a YouGov survey has found.

People aged 25 to 34 are the most likely to use their phones to flirt with potential partners, with 33 per cent saying they would initiate romance using text messages, and 29 per cent of people aged 18 to 44 said they would do the same. Among older phone users, it appears that texting is also a popular way to flirt, with 26 per cent of those aged 18 to 54 preferring to mostly flirt by sending text message rather than face to face.
