February date for Wikileaks accused

A US soldier accused of passing over thousands of classified documents to the Wikileaks website is to face trial in February.

The judge handling the case at Fort Meade, Maryland, said that Private Bradley Manning’s trial will take place between 4 February and 15 March. The 24-year-old faces a possible life sentence if found guilty.
