Fall in beer sales eases up

BEER sales are showing signs of recovery after the lowest fall for two years, the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) said today.

Total UK sales for the last three months of 2009 were down 3.6 per cent compared to 2008, new figures show, making it the lowest fourth quarter fall for pubs and supermarkets combined since 2006.
