'Elitist' Tory measures tempt talent to teach

A TORY government would make it easier for "high-flying professionals" to move into teaching, David Cameron pledged today.

Unveiling his party's draft education manifesto, he claimed top talent was being put off the switch by the red tape involved.

He promised "brazenly elitist" measures to entice the most talented graduates to teaching.
