Driver ‘critical’ following single car crash

A DRIVER was in a critical condition in hospital yesterday after a road crash in the Highlands.

The accident happened just after 3am on Saturday on Croyard Road at Beauly. No other vehicle was involved.

“Emergency services attended and the driver of the vehicle, an Audi, was found to be suffering serious injuries,” said a spokesman for Northern Constabulary.

“He was conveyed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where he is said to be in a critical condition.”
