Dressing down for the holidays

THE majority of people get dressed on only three occasions between Christmas and New Year’s Day, a poll has revealed.

The rest of the time, they just laze away the days in pyjamas or lounge wear, according to the survey by retailer Debenhams.

The three days of dressing are Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day when, ironically, people tend to wear at least three different outfits – pyjamas, casual clothing for around the house and a more formal outfit for seeing friends and family.
